Some Images
I need to admit that I currently have over 20,000 images on my computers iPhoto. There is such a large amount of pictures that my little rainbow wheel has been visiting me more and more as I add new images. Every time I hangout with the rainbow wheel I think about deleting pictures from my computer! Thankfully I am a hoarder of digital images and I never delete any. But with this confession I have decided to share some pictures of mine. I hope you enjoy!
These pictures I took while vacationing in Hawaii. The first picture is of a flower I found on a tree in the back yard of the home my parents rented while on the Big Island of Hawaii, the second picture is of Kaanapali Beach on the island of Maui just before sunset. This beach is by far my second favorite beach on this planet.
These next pictures I captured while vacationing in Guatemala. This is a beautiful country, I had the best time there. The scenery Guatemala has to offer is priceless, and very fun and easy to photograph. I will have to create a post dedicated to Guatemala.
As for these photo's they are just random shots from my everyday life. I completely love taking pictures, I hope it shows.

Bisla's 2
After sending the pictures I captured from my first shoot at Bisla's, I was curious to see if they liked the images I provided them. After a couple of day's I received a phone call asking if I would be able to take pictures a second time? I immediately responded yes! This is how my second photography job came to be!
My duties were to take pictures of their drinks for their drinks menu and social media site. Bisla's is currently in the middle of changing their drinks menu and I must say they have very pretty drinks.
I was also asked to take picture's of Bisla's customers as well. The feeling of the evening was very casual, with a party atmosphere electrifying the air. The people who were there enjoying the evening were young college students who clearly wanted to escape the confinement of studying.
The evening was a success in my opinion, I was able to meet some very interesting people while performing a job I was excited to do. The experience was priceless and I know is going to help my immensely in my future.

Bisla's
One day I received a phone call from an old roommate of mine, he called to inform me that I had a possible job shooting for a sports bar in Sacramento. He mentioned that a friend of his like a photo I took of his puppy Buster that he had hanging on his refrigerator. His buddy liked it to much that he asked if I would be interested in taking some pictures at a bar he worked at?
He told me to contact his friend and this is how my first paid job as a photographer started!
This shoot basically consisted of me taking pictures of the of the building and its interior, also of it's amazing patrons. Needless to say when the time came to enter the doors of that building I was nervous to put it extremely conservatively. The restaurant is named Bisla's and it has the distinction of being called Sacramento's Best Sports Bar! Once inside and immersed into the night life its very easy to understand Bisla's ability to hold this distinction.
This first task for me to perform was to take some pictures of the interior. Now Bisla's has the feeling of a restaurant with a very upscale bar, while keeping a sports bar with a night club type of alter-ego. Its very cool experience.
The patrons of Bisla's are young and old alike. There is no set "scene" it has a very open accepting environment. This being my first photography job ever which consisted me of approaching complete strangers and then taking their picture, was a little daunting considering my photography level consisted of me seeing a sunset and snapping a picture. So naturally I just dove right in and just started to shoot right away.
I was quick to discover, that the patrons of Bisla loved to have their picture taken! This made my anxiety dissipate quickly, and made the night a completely enjoyable evening. It was an incredible experience one which I will not soon forget. Also if your ever in Sacramento Bisla's is the place to be, get one of their hamburgers and enjoy the festivities!
My Photography
So this is my attempt at creating a photography page. I am not really sure how to do it, so naturally I am just diving in and seeing how this turns out!
I have never blogged before, as you can tell by my previous post I am pretty lame at blogging. So I am now going to talk about some of my photography! My skills in the field of photography at the moment is nothing more then a really cool hobby that I would like to see develop into something more. All my photos are from my daily life, and experiences.
The photo above is a little old I took it while docking in San Francisco after a beautiful cruise up to Alaska and back. This is one of my favorite photos, but for now I think it is a perfect time to start researching photography blog's and see what I can create. So its good bye for now, but not for to long!

My First Blog.
Hello Blogger world!
My name is Steven and this is my very blog. I am assuming I am rather late to get into the blog scene! Yet, as I sit here in my apartment listening to my roommate talk about some rather vulgar things I wouldn't want to post, I created this blog.
By the way did I mention this was my first blog, and I have no idea what to write about.
So I guess the polite thing to do is to introduce myself? Well, my name is Steven and I am currently living in the Central Valley of California. I have lived here my entire life. My life has been pretty average up until September of last year when I fell 30 feet face first off a cliff while visiting Santa Cruz California. I fractured my back and shattered my elbow. It sucked pretty bad but I am healed and ready for what life has ahead of me.
Now I think it time to end this particular blog, I think I should have read an actual blog before writing one!
